Plain terms for the free early preview of Nuku, run by Duke Security, Inc. (trading as Jestr).

The short version

• Nuku is free during this early preview. Features can change.
• You must be 18 or older.
• Nuku is not an emergency service, not therapy and not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
• Nuku's replies come from an AI and can be wrong. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
• Alerts are best-effort. Notifications can be delayed or never arrive (a phone that's off, blocked notifications, a browser that cleared its data, an outage). Don't make Nuku your only safety plan.

Using Nuku

Use Nuku for yourself and only invite guardians who agreed to it. Don't use it to harass anyone, to try to make the AI produce harmful content, or to overload or break the service. We may limit or remove pets that do.

Your pet is reachable only with the key your browser keeps. If that key is lost (cleared browser data, a new device), we can't restore access.

Our responsibility

We build Nuku with care and test the safety features, but we provide the preview "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Duke Security, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for alerts that were not delivered. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes and ending

We'll post changes to these terms here with a new date. You can stop any time by deleting your pet. If we ever shut Nuku down, we'll say so in the game at least 30 days ahead and let you export what Nuku remembers.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise. Contact: support@jestr.ai.
